SENIOR PET CARE

Senior cats and dogs deserve extra care and attention, but it's important to remember that age is not a disease! Older pets are more likely to be dealing with multiple health issues. This makes it all the more important to keep tabs on their health and vital signs. Finding problems early means we can treat sooner.

Signs of illness may include:
-
Not grooming as much
-
Weight gain/loss
-
Not playing as much
-
Increased thirst/urination
-
Sleeping more often
-
Increased/decreased appetite
-
Changes in behavior
-
Vomiting/Diarrhea/Constipation

Regular exams allow us to monitor your cat or dog's weight &
blood pressure, listen for changes in the heart or lungs, feel the
abdomen for any changes in organ size, palpate for masses,
and perform testing when necessary.
Early detection is key to leading a long and happy life!
